Smile makeovers with dental veneers.

Think of Veneers as very thin sheets of porcelain that are shaped and colored perfectly, then permanently bonded to your teeth. Since each veneer is custom made to fit you perfectly, we can use them to change the entire look of your smile, and in the process give you the smile you have always dreamed of.

Do dental veneers look the same as regular teeth?

Since dental veneers are ultra-thin sheets of porcelain, they are virtually undetectable from regular teeth.

They are extremely resistant to discoloration and staining. We use them to preserve natural teeth while giving you the smile you’ve always wanted

Will dental veneers break?

Dental veneers are thin and rely on underlying teeth for strength. Once placed, they will be strong. Since they work together with your teeth, they create an added layer of protection that also helps to preserve your natural teeth allowing you to give them the same care you give regular teeth.

Does dental insurance cover veneers?

Dental Veneers are considered a cosmetic treatment. Because of this, it doesn’t matter how good your dental insurance is, veneers will not be covered. No dental insurance policy will pay towards dental veneers.

What to expect from your smile makeover appointment at Abundant Smiles

Because of the need to customize the shape and color of your veneers to match your unique esthetic goals, veneers usually take three appointments to complete.

First Appointment

Your smile makeover will start with a consultation. During this initial consultation, we will Discuss your goals and assess your health. Make sure you fully understand the procedure, it’s benefits and limitations. Finally, we will take any necessary x-rays and impressions.

Second Appointment

During your second appointment, we will prepare your teeth for your new veneers. Veneers are a minimally invasive procedure, and should be nothing to worry about. Preparation only involves removing a small amount of the tooth’s surface to make room for the veneer. Once removed, an impression is made to design and fabricate your perfectly fitting veneers. Finally, temporary veneers are typically set until fabrication of your permanent veneers are complete.

Final Appointment

Your final appointment will involve placing your new veneers. Once placed, care is taken to adjust and match the fit to perfect your smile. We will then carefully clean, polish and score the tooth and apply cement to the veneer for a strong bond. Once each veneer is placed, we clean any excess cement, evaluating your bite, making any fine adjustments and hand you a mirror to admire your new smile that will be extremely resistant to discoloration and staining.
